PINs

Make sure you fill in the PINs properly. It is required to fill in PIN1 and PIN2 precisely, to follow exactly the size of letters, not to mix numbers and letters, not to write extra characters such as a space or a period. If it is not working despite these measures, you can generate a new set of PIN1 and PIN2 here (the identifier is your username).

If you are not sure whether you have entered the PINs or not, then you can check the account status on the main page www.mojeid.cz. Here click on the Login button and enter your chosen username. Leave the password box blank and click OK. In case the system asks you to enter a password, then it means that you have managed to enter both PINs correctly. Then just ask for a password that arrives to your e-mail address. Please change your password after login as soon as possible.

We send all PIN codes simultaneously, thus it is only a matter of a few minutes since your operator delivers you the text message, please be patient. In case the PIN code does not arrive within two hours, please inform us about it on podpora@mojeid.cz. We check sending the PIN codes and will inform you. You can initiate resending PIN1 and PIN2 by entering your account name in the contact identifier here. The system will send you new PIN codes.

Please wait for two to three hours, the automatic generation of an e-mail may be delayed. Also please make sure that he email with PIN1 is not in a spam folder or that your mailbox isn't full. It is also possible that you made a typo in your e-mail address at registration, please see When creating a MojeID account I mistakenly stated a wrong e-mail .

PIN3 serves to activate your account (to validate your mailing address). If you have an account in any role (a holder, an administrative contact or a technical contact) for the domain, then it is possible to hide your address of permanent residence so it is not visible in the public domain viewing - whois. The address; however, can only be hiden by the person who has not entered the ID number.

If you want to access public administration services using MojeID, you do not need to validate your address using PIN3.

  • PIN3 should be delivered by post within a week and no later than two weeks.
  • First, log in on www.mojeid.cz with the Login button, enter the user name and password that you have chosen for your account (you do not enter PIN3 here yet). If you do not remember your password, please select the option "Forgot your Password?" that you see below the form. The system will guide you through to a backup password.

  • Please double check that you are logging into the account to which you have PIN3.

  • After entering your account, click the Settings section where you can find a window for PIN3. After copying the exact code, click Activate. You can also change your password in the same section.

  • You identify your account by entering PIN3, it means that you have verified the validity of your address.

  • If you have your identified account in any role in the domain (a holder, an administrative contact, a technical contact), then it is possible to hide your address so that it is not visible in the public domain viewing - whois. The address; however, can only be hidden by the person who has not entered the ID number.

  • If you are just going to register your account, please fill in your mailing address.

  • If you have already made the identification using PIN1 and PIN2, then you can change the mailing address. The letter with PIN3 then comes to a new address.

That is not possible. PIN3 code verifies the validity of your mailing address so it is not possible to send it to your data box. It is also impossible to enter your data box as a mailing address.
