By entering the PIN3 you verify the authenticity of your correspondence address which increases your credibility for the services that use mojeID.
You may have recieved the letter with PIN3 for two reasons:
Completing your mojeID account identification
You have set up a mojeID account and verified your email adress and phone number. The next step is to verify your correspondence address. For that you need the PIN3 which you received in the letter. Here you will find how to fill in the PIN3 to complete your mojeID account verification.
Repeated mailing address verification
In case you have already verified your mojeID account via the PIN3 but since then you updated the correspondence address in your account you lose the higher level of authentication. Therefore, you have to verify your adress again using the new PIN3 which is in the letter you recieved. Find out here how to verify your new adress.
